You always keep talking about hopes and wishes, and how you feel life’s too boring if you stop dreaming. You don’t like reality all that much do you? So how are you sure when/if your dreams ever do come to realise, you won’t end up hating them too?
I laugh at your silly doubts. You’re silly. That’s what I’ve always liked about you so much and you don’t think before you speak. So everything that you say, is unfiltered. Innocent and honest. I think about the days when we first began talking and I laugh again. You look towards me, questioningly. Slightly embarrassed but trying desperately to hide it.
I tell you that the reason I hold onto my dreams so firmly is because I know that they’ll never cross the barrier which separates imagination from reality. Then I try to explain to you how my dreams seem so pretty yet also fragile in my mind, but you fail to understand. And I understand that it’s difficult to understand. Because I was never good at talking my feelings out to somebody. And then you understand. So you go back to reading your half way finished novel and I come back, to wake up.

  1. This world you’ve built inside of you, these conversations, I think I know what it feels like.
I’ve always talked more in my mind than I’ve talked to actual physical people…it’s feels like the truth, I sometimes wish it to be real. Although unlike you I could never really be open about this, couldn’t really put it into words.

So thank you… thank you for penning these thoughts down, and I hope I can too someday.

    Once again an Excellent read!

    1. Tanishq, hey there!

You just did. You did write down that you feel the same way, that you have your own beautiful world in your head which you find hard to put down into words. This is your beginning. 🎈

So keep having those conversations within you, because that’s where the real inspiration lies. 💫

Thank you so much for your kind words. I can’t explain how truly grateful I am. 🙂

    1. Yes, indeed.
‘It is the possibility of a dream coming true that makes life interesting.’ – If I have to quote The Alchemist. Thank you so much for your kind words. Means so much to me. 🙂

  2. Sometimes we dream to escape reality because it’s too grim… the things that we wished for and planned for is here already. It’s so easy to forget, but a heart wants more even when it has a lot. This is so stunning, wonderfully penned.

  3. I am so glad that you wrote after a long time and believe me the wait seems happily justified.

May be dreams are what pushes us to add a bit of embellishment to the beauty of life, add brighter hues to life much like how a garden, already beautiful, looks gorgeous when the flowers bloom 🙂

    1. Thank you so so much!
That is such a beautiful analogy you’ve shared, and I agree completely. Dreams are the necessary ingredient which we all (should) add to our lives.

Dreams are so intriguing. Dreams do have meaning do you know that? There is book on dreams By Dr. Bilal philips. A booklet precisely, do read it. 👍👍

  5. You have a nice blog, but can you watch my first YouTube video which is based on Cricket and the link is provided in my latest post titled YouTube…

I don’t want to waste my time in making the video if doesn’t have any potential. So, please provide me your valuable feedback on it.
